Estimates, revisions and acceptance

How to define scope, versions, approvals, additional tasks and delivery.

Compare scope rather than totals alone

Two quotes for a video can include different scripting, filming, narration, music, versions and source files. Estimates need measurable deliverables: counts, duration, formats, languages and file lists. A form budget range starts the discussion; it is not a tariff.

Agree stages and feedback

Approve concept, script, draft and final version in sequence. Consolidate team comments into a timed list. Agree revision rounds and response periods because waiting for assets and approvals affects the schedule.

Distinguish corrections from new scope

A mismatch with the agreed brief needs correction. A new language, changed story or replacement of approved narration changes scope. Agree its price and timing impact before doing the additional work.

Specify delivery and handover

Check exports, captions, rights, filenames and suitability for the chosen platform. Decide on editable sources and stems before production. Acceptance follows agreed criteria, with access, licences and ongoing support handed over explicitly.
